Pros: Outstanding food, wonderful afternoon tea, great entertainment, beautiful ship Cons: Inconsistent service, terrible internet, missed room cleanings, hit or miss shore excursions
Below is my review of our first Crystal Cruises voyage, which was 7205, the Mexican Riveria. I want to say as a preliminary matter, that we are quite spoiled travelers. We have frequented hotels like the Four Seasons and Aman and we are used to that ...
After having cruised the other premium lines multiple times my husband and I felt was time to upgrade to the consistently award-winning Crystal Cruise Lines. While costing over 60% more, if you can budget for it you will not be disappointed and ...
Pros: Unbelievable luxury, terrific shipboard amenities, gourmet food, sumptuous service Cons: Older scene
I just returned from a 14-day cruise on board the Crystal Symphony and I think I've just experienced a piece of heaven. My parents and I took a Panama Canal holiday cruise which left Ft. Lauderdale, stopped in Key West, Cartagena, Puntarenas, Acapulco,...
The Crystal Symphony is truly luxury cruising on a large ship!
Let's start with the staterooms, I was in a category B balcony room and it was just great. Comparable to balcony rooms on most ships it was basically just slightly larger with a...
Pros: Sincere service with a smile and your name attached to it Cons: Lack of picture ID guest/room cards
For our 18th overall cruise we chose for the first time the Crystal Symphony on the May-June 2005 sailing from Barcelona, Spain to Dover, England. It was appropriately titled the "Wine and Romance" cruise with stops in Cannes, France; Cadiz, Spain; ...
We went on the May Mediterranean Cruise on the Symphony. It began in Rome and stopped in Taormina, Venice, Bari, Italy then over to Kusadasi, Turkey, then Santorini, Mykonos and Athens, Greece.
My wife and I recently took the Crystal Symphony through the Panama Canal.
While we are not, as yet, frequent "cruisers", we have been a a sufficient number of cruises to be able to compare.
The Crystal cruise was the most memorable...
Pros: Food, Games, Activities, Relaxation Cons: The first day you can be a bit seasick
I thought the cruise was the best vacation yet. You get to wake up at 10:00 and watch t.v. Half way through the day, a really nice waiter comes into your room and gives you a midday snack. Sometimes he gives you little latkas and sometimes he gives...

Pros: great food, unparalleled service, excellent casino Cons: harping on tipping, 2 dinner seatings, small cabins
We took our usual Xmas/New Years cruise on Crystal from Ft. Lauderdale to Ft. Lauderdale. We live only 20 minutes from the pier in Boca Raton. ALMOST everything the same. Great food, service and decor. Nice casino, but I noticed that Crystal is beginning...
Pros: Food, staff, entertainment, ports, elegance, service Cons: not very many young people on the boat
I have traveled quite a bit and there has been nothing that compares to the luxury and elegance of this ship/ cruise line. The meals and entertainment were to die for, the staff was amazing and the ports were spectacular. I was taken on this cruise as a guest of a family member and I have never experienced anything like it. We shared a room and it was absolutely perfect for two people. The family member has since been on another cruise through Crystal Cruise Lines. Guests get everything they pay for, and then some.
