Pros: Wonderful ship, good food, very attentive and professional crew, outstanding entertainment, great destinations. Cons: Attention to detail when things went wrong at the end, forget RC's ground transportation vouchers.
This was our first cruise and was given to us as a wedding gift. We made all of our arrangements, prior to travel, over the internet. By the time we received our cruise booklet in the mail, all of the details had been handled. Our package included air ...
This was the first cruise for my wife and I. We wanted a easy vacation that didn't take us too far from our 15 month old (stayed with Grandma and Grandpa!) and since we live on Long Island, a cruise leaving from NYC fit the bill. Our choices were the ch ...
Pros: Beautiful ship, excellent staff, great rooms, perfect atmosphere for cruising. Cons: Should have more inclusive food options. Should be able to wait in rooms to disembark.
I booked my first cruise with two friends back in March of 2003. We didn't want flying to be any part of this trip due to time/money constraints. We found the Serenade of the Seas cruising out of New York City to Halifax and St. John, Canada. B ...
Pros: Superb itinerary,Beautiful Ship,Great New Year’s Eve celebration-Fireworks from St Thomas & St John’s Cons: Some port time was too short, mediocre food yet still the best cruise ever
RCCL's Serenade of the Seas, a Radiance class ship, is a stunningly beautiful vessel. It is smaller (90,000 tons vs. 138,000 tons) than the Voyager and Freedom classes but in many ways, it offers a much better experience. I can honestly say the ONLY ...
Pros: clean, fun ship, great staff and itinerary, food was excellent Cons: salt water pools - still great time though

Pros: Perfect Ship, great destinations. Cons: An older crowd.
Come back and check on this because I'm going to add stuff as I think of it! Never been on a cruise before? I hadn't either. There is no way to describe this ship unless you see it for yourself. Not a blemish anywhere. 90,000 tons of glass, ...

Pros: Rooms comfortable; maid service excellent. Cons: Lack of care by staff for issues in dining room; long check in time.
Cruise from New York to Canada early September 2003.
Check in time unbearably long in New York.
Accomodations comfortable.
Food adequate.
Dining room problems in that at second seating when you would not expect children, there were screaming infants at table near us. We asked that our table be changed. Were told that it could not be done. Finally, after much screaming at the maitre'd our table was changed. Told by maitre'd that the other family had paid to travel and they had same rights as us. To disturb possible 30 people? I don't think so. Will not travel again on a cruise that has fixed seating plan. Not worth the aggravation.
